Nominations for the 2019 NYPA (Last of the year!)

Adjudicator: Savannah Mcnatty - melbourne, australia.

Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Savannah began her dancing training at the age of 6 in just about every genre you can think of, competing nationally and internationally. She completed her examinations in the RAD, NZAMD and Glenn Wood tap syllabi.

After getting a taste of live performance locally in shows such as Christmas In The Park and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and realising this was her dream career, she moved to Melbourne aged 17 as a scholarship student to train at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance. She has been working professionally ever since.

Her credits include working as Dance Captain on board Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Beauty and The Beast, The AFL Footy Show, Timomatic, Justice Crew, Nickelodeon, International Comedy Festival, Australian Open and commercially for companies such as Coca-Cola, Marvel and Dreamworks among others.

Having worked in many facets of the performing arts industry from cruise ships and musical theatre, to hosting live children’s shows and acting in Bollywood movies, the one job Savannah has always maintained and loves is teaching the younger generations of performers who are eager to start their own careers. Savannah is very excited to be in Tauranga for the first time and to witness the talent here first hand.
